I started writing way back in school, but not like the usual way. I used to sing and rap—I had the whole cafeteria lit. But then life hit me hard. I went through some real traumatic events. I forgot all about writing.

Fast forward 15 years—I’m a mom, still surviving craziness—and one random day last year, outta nowhere, I picked up a pen and started writing again. Then my crazy ass was like, “You know what? I’m finna write a book.” And here we are.
